Sustainability is Key at New Tooele Utah RDC
Prinoth is thrilled to announce its move to a brand-new location in Tooele, Utah, situated just outside Salt Lake City. The new campus serves as a collaborative hub for several HTI companies, including Prinoth, Leitner-Poma of America, Skytrac, and DemacLenko. This exciting relocation marks a significant milestone for the Prinoth team, offering enhanced facilities and new opportunities for innovation and growth.
Scott Jones, VPGM Snow Grooming North America, expressed his enthusiasm about the move, stating, “It’s a beautiful new facility! We have over 20,000 square feet, quadrupling our shop space, and we have a much larger yard on top of that.” This substantial increase in space will boost operational efficiency and support the company’s continued growth in the region.
One of the standout features of the new facility is the warehouse, which serves as a dedicated Prinoth parts hub. The team had the rare opportunity to design and organize the space from the ground up, integrating advanced inventory management systems and fully digitizing operations. This modernization ensures that parts availability is streamlined, enabling quicker and more efficient delivery to customers. By prioritizing customer satisfaction, the warehouse is well-equipped to meet the demands of Prinoth’s customers.
Sustainability has been a core consideration in the design and development of the new facility. A key highlight is the installation of a 162-foot-tall wind turbine by Leitwind, another HTI company. This impressive turbine has a capacity of up to 250 kilowatts of electricity, sufficient to meet 100% of the facility’s energy needs through a direct connection. Any surplus power generated is fed back into the grid, contributing to renewable energy efforts in the community. Additionally, phase two of construction will include the installation of solar panels, further reinforcing Prinoth’s commitment to environmentally responsible operations.
Prinoth’s new facility embodies a forward-thinking approach to business, blending state-of-the-art technology with sustainability initiatives. The team is eager to share their excitement with customers and partners. Visitors are always welcome to experience the new space firsthand.
